Happy Very Belated Birthday to Faith!

Sooooooooooo, whilst we did celebrate F-Bomb's birthday in person, we neglected her very own birthday blog post and for this we are deeply sorry.  Time to make up for lost time and time to start getting our blog on more often.  I mean really............
Look at how precious she is.
One of several gifts hand-picked especially for our dear hostess with the mostess.
(no, we did not make her host her own soiree)
A new book of cook which included the recipe for her yummy cake.
Cookbook stand assembly is easier done when you are working with two functional thumbs.
Homemade crochet art for her guest bedroom...this had all the potential to go very wrong, but I think the birthday girl likes it.  What say you?
A good luck crochet sea stone and a goodbye kiss from the Lovely Lady LaBeaume.

Happy birthday Faith!  We love everything about you!

And then there were two...

We have really been slacking on blogging and that's because we have also been slacking on girls night. We went from meeting every Thursday to practically not meeting at all, cold turkey! Everyone has just been so busy that's it's too hard to keep a weekly commitment. So...a Catty Kitchen meeting has been called and on the agenda is to discuss meeting one Friday a month. I think that's doable but we'll see. More to come on that.

Last night two of the Catties hit the town. A friend from high school (Jenny - shown above) was in for a short trip, so Octavia and Faith decided to head down to Highlands Brewery and join the happy hour fun. I have to say, it was pretty darn tasty. We ate too much and drank just the right amount. I see a field trip back there in the near future. It was a fun night catching up with old friends and I'm glad we had the opportunity to go.
That's right! We ate pub chips, fried guacamole, sliders and 10 beers! And everything was o-so-tasty!
Oh and btw Faith's birthday was a blast! She's so great and we're glad she had such a wonderful birthday. All the Catty girls worked so hard to make her celebration awesome and I think it was a success. Now time to plan Melissa's big day!!
Ciao!
