In preparation of this birthday blog, the entire Catty Kitchen got together for many photo OP's (haha, get it?) and great times.
We started the evening at Faith's house sans the guest of honor to get everything in order and to talk about how much our pretty girl is going to love Plan A, or even Plan B.
With everyone ready to go, we were off the the Pitts' residence for present time!
OP opened her presents from the other kitches while Faith took a very important phone call. Coffee grinder, coffee beans for grinder, microwaveable travel mug for coffee, crochet hook for tiny amigurumi, and hedgehog necklace for wearing! Whew! Quite the list of awesome things.
Now, back to that phone call that seemed unappropriate earlier...our newest member, Katie, called from Faith's house! Plan A (Hill Brewing Co. in Ferguson) had a water main break! And everyone at Plan A moved across the street to Plan B (Cork Wine Bar, also in Ferguson)!!! Two well thought out plans gone in one fell swoop!
After a huddle with hubble, we decided to give Octavia her yarn ball cup cake courtesy of Melissa first and then head down to Yemanja in the city for a new adventure. Katie also had an awesome necklace for the birthday girl and a $5 coupon for Hill Brewing Company for her next attempt at the microbrewery.

The food was amazing, we (eventually) had our own nook of the restaurant, and we had such a great time celebrating our beloved Octavia.
